Assistant Manager (Senior Sales Negotiator)
Location: Oswestry
Salary: £30K Basic + Performance Related Bonus
Type: Full-time including some Saturdays (based on a rota)
My client is a leading independent estate agent based in Shropshire and are looking to welcome a highly motivated, talented, and experienced estate agency professional into their branch. As Assistant Manager/Senior Sales Negotiator, the successful candidate will play an integral part in the profitability and growth of the branch. This is mainly an office-based role.
The Role
* Oversee the daily operations of the branch, ensuring all activities run efficiently and effectively
* Deliver outstanding customer service, building lasting relationships with clients and the local community
* Manage and monitor property stock, ensuring accurate listings and effective marketing
* Work collaboratively with the team to achieve and exceed branch sales targets
* Stay up to date with local market trends, property values, and competitor activity
* Provide regular feedback and performance updates to the Branch Manager and senior leadership
* Conduct property viewings when required, providing professional advice and insight to buyers
* Negotiate offers between vendors and purchasers to achieve the best outcomes for all parties
* Carry out due diligence to qualify buyers, verifying identity and financial capability before progressing to the Sales Progression team
* Maintain consistent communication with vendors and purchasers, keeping all parties informed throughout the process
* Generate and refer leads to our Financial Services partners
* Ensure full compliance with AML and all relevant industry regulations
* Support the Branch Manager in driving overall branch efficiency, profitability, and team performance

* Proven experience within estate agency or residential sales
* Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
* Outstanding communication and customer service skills
* The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
* A high level of attention to detail and strong administrative skills
* Confident IT proficiency and familiarity with property software systems
