KEY CLIENT MANAGERRendall & Rittner £Competitive, aligned to experience 18month FTC Home-based | London, Midlands & Manchester travel requiredROLE OVERVIEWWe need a Key Client Manager who can take ownership of a complex, high-value client relationship and lead a team of property managers to deliver against them.Youll act as the senior point of contact for key clients, building long-term partnerships, overseeing service delivery and leading your team to consistently meet and exceed agreed standards.This is a senior role that sits at the intersection of client management, team leadership and operational oversight, requiring someone who can operate confidently across all three.ROLE EXPECTATIONSThis role requires someone who can manage complexity across client relationships, team performance and portfolio operations without losing sight of the detail that matters to clients.You will be expected to set and monitor KPIs, hold the team accountable, manage client relationships proactively and resolve issues before they escalate.You will be expected to lead from the front, spotting opportunities to add value for clients and drive continuous improvement across the team.WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKEYoull be successful in this role if:Key clients trust you, feel well-informed and see you as a genuine partnerYour team consistently delivers against KPIs and knows what good looks likeDevelopments are compliant, well managed and financially controlledYou are the person clients and your team turn to when it mattersHOW YOULL SPEND MOST OF YOUR TIMEMost weeks, youll be:Managing and developing relationships with key clients, attending meetings and responding to their needs proactivelyLeading and supporting your property management team to deliver consistently against client commitmentsSetting, monitoring and reporting on service level KPIs for each clientOverseeing budgets, financial forecasts and year-end processes across the portfolioEnsuring Health & Safety compliance and operational standards across all client developmentsYoull be home-based with regular regional meetings, trusted to manage your time, priorities and client relationships effectively.WHO THIS ROLE IS FORThis role suits someone who:Has extensive experience in residential leasehold management and a strong track record with senior clientsIs confident leading a team and holding people accountable in a client-facing environmentUnderstands leasehold legislation, KPI management and financial reportingCommunicates clearly and professionally at Board level and across all stakeholdersTakes pride in service quality and the reputation of the company with every client interactionEXPERIENCE THAT HELPSExtensive residential leasehold property management experience, including complex major worksStrong knowledge of the Landlord & Tenant Act, RICS and ARMA guidelines and leasehold legislationPrevious managerial experience in the block management industryProven track record of building and managing senior client relationshipsTPI / AssocRICS membership (or willingness to obtain within 12 months, fully funded)WHAT WE OFFERCompetitive salary, aligned to experienceDiscretionary bonusHome-based working with portfolio travel25 days holiday plus bank holidaysPrivate medical insurance, life assurance and enhanced family leaveFully funded training and professional developmentPaid sabbaticals as a loyalty rewardPension scheme and employee assistance programmeDiscounts across travel, retail, fitness and entertainmentABOUT RENDALL & RITTNERRendall & Rittner is one of the UKs most established and highly accredited residential leasehold property management companies, managing over 90,000 homes nationwide.
