We are working in partnership with an Ofsted 'Good' 11-16 secondary school in Leicester who are seeking an enthusiastic andmitted Teacher of English. This is a full-time and long-term job from January to Easter. There is a possibility this could extend or be permanent for the right candidate. Due to this being a long-term job, full teaching responsibilities will be required, including planning and marking.
Job Description
5. Delivering engaging and creative English lessons at KS3 and KS4
6. Planning and preparing schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessments.
7. Monitoring student progress and providing feedback.
8. Contributing to the development of the department’s curriculum.
Requirements
9. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. ECT's wee to apply.
10. Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one.
11. Recent experience teaching English at secondary school level.
12. Strong behaviour/classroom management.
13. Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members
