We are seeking a Project Engineer (with a degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry) to work for a manufacturer of scientific instrumentation based in Hertfordshire. The Project Engineer role oversees the fulfillment of equipment manufacture, from sales order confirmation through to dispatch and installation, whilst providing technical expertise to the production group and end-users across the companys global customer base. The project engineer is responsible for the accurate, on-time, and profitable fulfillment of both engineered-to-order product lines and configured repeatable product offerings. Key Responsibilities: 1. Reviewing quotation documents to create a manufacturing work package for the build, including schematics, bill of materials, operations routing, specification statement, and system testing plan in advance of production. 2. Ensuring all aspects of the build plan meet specification requirements listed in the quotation documents, by means of cross-functional contract review meetings. 3. Evaluating contractual pre-requisites with internal stakeholders in order to mitigate transit and delivery time, penalty clauses, and other contractual elements, ensuring on-time receipt to the customer. 4.
