Director, Business Development Aviation Training SaaS

Were seeking a senior business development leader to drive strategic expansion of our SaaS training solutions in the aviation security (AVSEC) sector. The ideal candidate will have deep regulatory insight, strong AVSEC training experience, and a track record of scaling SaaS platforms in regulated markets.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead business development strategy across EMEA, increasing SaaS revenue and market share
* Build relationships with aviation regulators, government stakeholders, and industry partners
* Manage the full sales cycle, bids, tenders, and public sector compliance
* Use data insights to drive sales strategy, product adoption, and pipeline growth
* Collaborate on marketing and brand initiatives to support lead generation and awareness
* Represent the company at key industry events and conferences
Experience Required
1. 10+ years in SaaS sales/business development
2. 5+ years in AVSEC training or aviation compliance
3. Proven success in scaling SaaS solutions and navigating government contracts
4. Familiarity with ICAO, CAA, DfT standards and airport screening processes
