Why us? Media Borne is building the North East’s first Virtual Production Hub, giving local creatives access to real-time multi-camera green screen production powered by Unreal Engine. While on-set workflows will reduce post bottlenecks, finishing work remains vital — ensuring polished, broadcast-ready content. We are seeking a Post-Production Technician to manage editing, colour, sound, and delivery workflows. You’ll take footage from the Hub and ensure it reaches the highest possible standard for online, broadcast, and client use. This role is central to turning productions into professional, market-ready content. About us Founded in 2018, Media Borne is a Newcastle-based team with a strong track record in video production, live streaming, and immersive storytelling. With the Hub, we’re scaling into new original content and digital IP. This role will help ensure that the North East can compete nationally by producing content that looks and feels world-class. Responsibilities Day-to-day, you’ll: Editing : Assemble multi-camera projects using Adobe Premiere Pro (or similar) to deliver client-ready and in-house IP content. Compositing : Support green screen keying, Unreal Engine renders, and integration of additional VFX. Colour Grading : Apply LUTs and perform colour correction to ensure consistency across cameras. Audio Post : Clean, mix, and balance dialogue, effects, and music to professional standards. File Management : Maintain organised post-production asset libraries and backups. Delivery : Export content in multiple formats, optimised for YouTube, broadcast, and social platforms. Workflow Development : Collaborate with the technical team to refine how live-composited feeds move into post for efficient turnaround. Documentation : Contribute to internal playbooks for post workflows, ensuring knowledge is shared. Qualifications We’re looking for someone with: Proven experience in editing (Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Avid). Strong knowledge of colour workflows (grading, LUTs, HDR). Understanding of sound post-production. Familiarity with multi-camera editing and broadcast-ready delivery. Organisational skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines. Nice to have Experience working with Unreal Engine renders or VFX pipelines. Knowledge of HDR or ACES colour pipelines. Experience with fast-turnaround YouTube or live-streamed content.
