Central Employment are working with an established and expanding UK manufacturer of specialist and bespoke consumer products, as they look to appoint a Sales Account Manager.

A dynamic opportunity for an ambitious B2B Sales Account Manager to join a fast-paced FMCG organisation. This role focuses on managing and growing private-label customer accounts, driving commercial performance, and building long-term strategic partnerships. Ideal for someone with around two years of experience in FMCG sales who's ready to take ownership of key accounts and influence category growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and develop a portfolio of private-label B2B customers
* Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts and proactively pursue new business.
* Lead commercial negotiations, including pricing, promotional planning, and contract discussions.
* Collaborate with internal teams (NPD, marketing, supply chain, finance) to deliver customer-specific solutions.
* Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving.
Skills & Experience
* Approximately 2 years of experience in FMCG sales, B2B account management, or commercial roles.
* Strong understanding of FMCG dynamics, category management, and product lifecycle.
* Confident negotiator with strong commercial acumen.
* Excellent communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills.
* Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment.
* Ability to analyse data, interpret trends, and translate insights into action.
