Our client is seeking a Sole Finance Manager (no team management!) to join their friendly and supportive team, working within a caring environment that values people as much as performance.
The Role
As the Finance Manager, you'll play a key part in supporting the smooth running of day-to-day financial operations. You'll work closely with management and external accountants to ensure accuracy, transparency, and efficiency across all finance processes.
Your duties will include:
Processing invoices, payments, and receipts
Maintaining accurate records of fees and accounts
Assisting with payroll and staff expenses
Reconciling bank statements and petty cash
Preparing and updating financial reports
Liaising with suppliers and families regarding billing and payments
Supporting audits and ensuring compliance with financial procedures
About You
You'll be a team player with a sharp eye for detail and a proactive approach to your work.
We're looking for someone who has:
Previous experience in finance, accounts, or bookkeeping
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Confidence using Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks experience is an advantage)
A discreet and professional approach to handling confidential information
Excellent communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude
