Win as a team
We are currently recruiting for a senior Financial Lines Underwriter to join our Glasgow team on a hybrid basis.
You’ll make an impact by:
1. Underwriting and negotiating new and/or existing Financial Lines (PI, D&O and Crime) business within your authority
2. Building and maintaining excellent broker relationships through regular engagement
3. Applying pricing strategies and risk assessment techniques to drive profitable growth
4. Collaborating with colleagues to share insights and improve underwriting practices
5. Contributing to process improvements and supporting broker team ideas
6. Representing our brand at broker meeting, industry events and field visits as needed
Your skills and experience:
7. Extensive experience of Financial Lines (PI, D&O or Crime) Underwriting or Broking is essential
8. A sharp eye for detail and a head for strategy
9. Excellent communication skills
10. The ability to build and maintain relationships with brokers
