Their commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction drives our continuous growth and success. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Technical Support Specialist. The ideal candidate will provide technical assistance and support to our clients, ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our automated storage systems. This role involves troubleshooting, problem-solving, and delivering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
* Supporting automated pallet storage systems in operation globally.
* Fixing issues remotely through our support interface software and aiding customers over the phone to fix any mechanical issues that may occur, to keep downtime to a minimum.
* Problems solving, figuring out issues before they happen and working out what the issue is with limited information using problem-solving skills.
* Collaborate with engineering and development teams to escalate and resolve complex technical problems.
* Train customers on system operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting procedures.
* Participate in on-call rotation to provide after-hours support as needed.
* Continuously improve knowledge of company products, industry trends, and best practices.
* Predominantly office-based job
Requirements:
* A basic understanding of electronics and mechanics would be useful but a willingness to learn and develop these skills is more important.
