A leading international education provider is seeking a hands-on IT Technician to support a busy London campus environment. This is a varied, people-facing role ideal for someone who enjoys responsibility, autonomy, and being embedded in a fast-moving organisation.
The role
You'll take ownership of day-to-day IT operations across multiple sites, supporting staff, lecturers, and students while ensuring systems remain secure, reliable, and high-performing.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Supporting daily IT operations, troubleshooting, and system continuity
2. Onboarding staff and providing IT training
3. Installing and maintaining devices, software, networks, and peripherals
4. Monitoring servers, backups, Wi-Fi, and connectivity
5. Maintaining documentation and internal IT processes
6. Supporting classroom AV systems and teaching environments
7. Assisting with wider infrastructure projects
8. Providing occasional support for events and students
What we're looking for
9. Strong communicator with technical and non-technical users
10. Passionate about IT with a proactive learning mindset
11. Calm under pressure and able to prioritise effectively
12. Team-oriented and adaptable in a multicultural environment
Technical requirements
13. 3+ years' experience in IT support or infrastructure
14. Strong Windows 10/11 and Windows Server experience
15. Solid Active Directory knowledge
16. Good understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, Wi-Fi)
17. Comfortable supporting hardware, printers, and general IT infrastructure

18. M365, Azure AD sync, Entra ID, Intune
19. Virtualisation (VMWare/XenServer)
20. Linux, macOS, iOS, Android environments
21. CCTV, telephony, access control, or AV systems
22. Additional languages
