The Job Role:
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Rural Surveyor based in Cambridgeshire. The successful candidate will focus on farm and estate management, landlord and tenant negotiations, rent reviews, consultancy advice, and involvement in emerging rural markets such as natural capital and diversification. MRICS qualification is essential.
Location: Cambridgeshire (Office-based with flexible working options)

Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver management services for farms and estates, including annual budgets
* Negotiate landlord and tenant leases, rent reviews, lease renewals, and surrenders
* Provide strategic rural business consultancy
* Identify grant funding opportunities and manage contractors
* Apply landlord and tenant law, tax law, and manage land use complexities
* Maintain strong client relationships and deliver projects within budget
* Collaborate across the wider UK property consultancy network
* Stay updated on emerging rural business sectors and markets
Candidate Requirements:
Qualifications & Experience:
* RICS qualified (essential)
* Experience in rural estate management, landlord and tenant matters, and consultancy
* Ability to review and comment on Profit & Loss accounts
* Knowledge of landlord and tenant law, tax law, and rural market trends
* Strong client management and project management skills
