We are working with our nationwide charitable organisation, which is currently undergoing a period of change. They seek an experienced Senior HR Business Partner to join their team.
The HR Business Partner (BP) team takes a strategic lead on people management and organisational development to ensure the organisation has the right Culture, Capacity, and Capability to achieve its purpose.
The Senior HR Business Partner will manage a team of 2 HR BPs and will be responsible for developing and delivering the HR strategy to foster relationships and implement people management solutions.
The ideal candidate will have experience within a regulated or unionised environment and be a proven strategic HR BP. This role is home-based, with very occasional travel nationwide. Candidates should be based in the East or West Midlands region.
Key responsibilities include:
* Supporting the development and implementation of the People strategy
* Managing up to two HR Business Partners, including performance management, absence management, staff wellbeing, and learning and development needs
* Driving collaboration across wider teams and departments
* Supporting the Head of HR Business Partnering and leading specific HR projects to deliver the People strategy
* Leading organisational change projects
* Managing union negotiations and relationships
The successful candidate will have extensive experience as an HR Business Partner, particularly in organisational change within a charitable or care environment. They will have managed complex employee relations matters, including organisational restructures, TUPE transfers, and change management programmes. Experience in managing a team is essential.
The candidate should be a strong team player with an approachable and influential style, capable of driving success within this ambitious HR function that maintains high standards. CIPD qualification is required. Immediate or quick availability is necessary for consideration.
