Your new role
As a Supply Chain Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless flow of goods and materials. Reporting to the Operations Director and leading a team of three direct reports, you will be responsible for supplier management, logistics, warehouse operations, and inventory control. Your strategic initiatives will drive performance and cost-efficiency to new heights.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supplier & Procurement Management: Develop and implement supplier strategies, negotiate pricing, and maintain strong supplier relationships.
2. Warehouse & Inventory Management: Lead the warehouse team, oversee logistics, and ensure optimal inventory levels.
3. Logistics & Distribution: Coordinate transportation, manage third-party logistics, and ensurepliance with regulatory requirements.
4. Cost Optimisation & Continuous Improvement: Identify cost-saving opportunities, analyse performance data, and support sustainability initiatives.
What you'll need to succeed
5. Experience: 5 plus years in supply chain management with proven leadership responsibilities.
6. Skills: Strong supplier management, warehousing, logistics, and inventory control experience. Proficiency in supply chain systems and tools.
7. Attributes: Excellent analytical,munication, and negotiation skills. Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive results.
8. Experience with international suppliers and logistics partners (desirable).
9. Familiarity with sustainability practices in supply chain and sourcing (desirable).
