Job Overview
The Urgent Community Response Team is a large multi-disciplinary team that responds to physical health crises in Havering, Barking, Dagenham and Redbridge. This role supports the delivery of high-quality patient care by providing clinical assessment in the patient's own home to avoid unnecessary hospital admission.
Main duties of the job
Work effectively in a busy, demanding environment and cope in crisis situations. Apply strong clinical reasoning and communication skills to ensure patients are holistically assessed in a timely manner.
Be willing to visit patients who may have fallen or be on the floor. Demonstrate professional curiosity and a commitment to high standards.
Fixed-Term Position
1‑year fixed term, subject to a probationary period.
Responsibilities
Manage your own workload, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines. Work independently and as part of a team across multiple sites. Demonstrate flexibility, excellent communication and organisational skills.
Compensation
High Cost Area Supplement – 15 % of the basic salary (minimum £4,714 to maximum £5,941 p.a. pro‑rata for part time).
