Steel Assembly Operative Location: Crook, County Durham Pay Rate: £13.50 per hour Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am starts Overtime: Regular overtime available paid at 1.5x rate We are currently recruiting for an experienced Steel Assembly Operative to join a busy and growing manufacturing company based in Crook, County Durham. This is a hands-on role assembling pre-fabricated and pre-drilled sheet metal components using nuts, bolts, screws and hand tools. The position offers excellent earning potential through regular overtime opportunities. Duties & Responsibilities * Assembling pre-fabricated sheet metal components to engineering drawings and specifications. * Using nuts, bolts and screws to build steel assemblies. * Operating impact drivers and other hand tools safely and efficiently. * Using metal grinders to prepare and finish components. * Measuring materials and completed assemblies using tape measures. * Carrying out quality checks to ensure products meet required standards. * Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
