School Cleaner Needed
I currently work closely with a fantastic Primary School based in Northfield who are currently looking for a School Cleaner to join their Team ASAP.
The successful School Cleaner will be required, on a long-term basis, up to the end of the academic year.
Job Specification
The successful Assistant will need:
A minimum of 6 months experience cleaning in a School setting or Care Home
Strong initiative
Hard-working nature
Responsibilities
Routine cleaning (vacuuming, dusting, mopping, polishing, emptying bins) during term time
Deep cleaning during school closures (floors, walls, carpets, glass)
Safe use of electrical cleaning equipment (scrubbers, polishers, carpet machines)
Cleaning toilets and sanitary areas to required hygiene standards
Work under direction of Cleaner in Charge / Site Manager
Inspect and report defects to Head Teacher or Site Manager
Replenish consumables (soap, toilet paper, etc.)
Use access equipment safely for high areas
Participate in Council’s performance development scheme
