Responsibilities
* Perform the repair, maintenance, and installation of electrical systems and associated plant equipment, ensuring they meet safety standards and statutory compliance.
* Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems and related building services, such as HVAC, fire alarm systems, and lifts, to ensure optimal operation.
* Quickly diagnose and resolve electrical faults to minimise downtime, ensuring timely repairs and maintaining service continuity.
* Ensure all maintenance work adheres to relevant health and safety regulations, including Sodexo's procedures and the latest legislation, to ensure a safe working environment.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance, providing clear documentation for management and clients.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues, clients, and contractors to deliver high-quality service and ensure effective communication of engineering and building issues impacting service delivery.
* Work in line with the Permit to Work System.
* Use of IT systems (Handheld device) as part of the CAFM system.
* To undertake weekend/out of hours working to complete intrusive maintenance activities that cannot be undertaken in client operating hours.
Qualifications
* A City and Guilds/NVQ Level 3 qualification in Electrical.
* 18th Edition IEE wiring qualified.
* Experience in operating BMS.
* Minimum 5-year experience.
* Experience of PPM, Reactive and installation work.
* Good computer skills (MS office, PDA's etc).
* Good Knowledge of health and safety.
* Good Knowledge of HVAC systems.
* Basic Mechanical/Plumbing Skills.
