We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Herefordshire to assist with the appointment of a Principal Public Rights of Way Officer, on a 6.5-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: £26.06 - £34.44 per hour
Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the Public Rights of Way team.
* Act as the professional lead on all Public Rights of Way-related matters.
* Develop and implement effective strategies, processes, and policies.
* Ensure the network is accessible, safe, and well maintained.
* Collaborate with Cabinet, elected members, senior managers, and stakeholders.
Skills and Experience:
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Proven background in Public Rights of Way or related field.
* Experience developing and delivering strategies and policies.
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
* Customer-focused with a proactive, can-do attitude.
