Job Description
– Duchy Hospital – Bank Hours
The Role
To succeed in this role, you will need a strong clinical background in acute surgical care. We are looking for a dynamic and positive individual to ensure the Theatre department is Safe, Effective, Responsive, Caring, and Well-Led.
About the Job
The successful candidate will work in collaboration with the Theatre team, developing excellent working relationships with staff, consultants, and key stakeholders. They will assist in driving sustainable excellence in safety and quality of care and services. Monitoring achievements against standards, identifying risks, and planning improvements will be key responsibilities.

Duchy Hospital is Cornwall's only private hospital, renowned for high-quality healthcare. Opened in 1981 by HRH Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother, it is located on the outskirts of Truro in a rural setting.
Essential Experience and Qualifications
* ODP Level 3
* Understanding of clinical standards
* Organizational and communication skills
* Computer proficiency
* Registered with the HCP
