We have an opportunity for an Electrician to join the repairs and maintenance team for a local council in Kensington and Chelsea.
Responsibilities:
1. Performing a comprehensive range of responsive repairs, maintenance tasks, and planned works.
2. Identifying and resolving electrical faults reported by tenants.
3. Addressing urgent electrical issues, including power outages, faulty wiring, and safety hazards.
4. Installing new electrical systems, such as lighting, sockets, consumer units, and complete rewiring in both occupied and vacant properties.
5. Conducting Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) and necessary remedial work to ensure regulatory compliance.
6. Upholding a professional and respectful demeanour when engaging with residents and housing staff.
7. Accurately documenting completed work, materials used, and time spent on tasks using the PDA system.
Requirements:
8. Full UK Driving Licence (manual)
9. Level 3 Award in the Requirements for Electrical Installations BS7671:2018
10. Level 3 Diploma in Electrical Installations (2365)
11. Level 3 NVQ in Electrical Installations (2357)
