Full time – 32.5 hours per week
Fixed term from January 2026 (maternity leave cover)

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Pentland’s Primary School for an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher to join the Pentland family.
This role will include:
* Responsibility for the teaching and learning of the children within your class
* Responsibility for assessment and support plans for the children within your class.
* Communication with the parents.
* Coordinating of support staff and working collaboratively with the team.
* All duties and responsibilities as set out in the Teacher Standards.
We are looking for someone who has:
* Proven experience of teaching children within primary.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Resilience and a sense of humour.
* Excellent team working skills
* The ability and passion to become part of the ‘Pentland Family’ and the desire to contribute to that.
* The desire and ability to make a difference to lives of children within our school.
