Role Overview As a Driver at Lathams Limited, you will play a key role in ensuring the timely and safe delivery of goods across our service areas. We are looking for someone who is punctual, courteous, and conscientious with a strong focus on customer service and road safety. Key Responsibilities Safely loading, transporting, and delivering goods to various locations within agreed timeframes. Conducting daily vehicle safety checks and reporting any maintenance issues promptly. Maintaining accurate delivery logs and paperwork in compliance with company policies and legal regulations. Providing excellent customer service by communicating effectively and professionally with clients and colleagues. Adhering to all health and safety standards and road traffic laws. Assisting warehouse staff with loading and unloading duties as required. Managing routes efficiently to optimise fuel consumption and delivery times. Required Qualifications and Skills Valid UK driving licence appropriate for the vehicle type to be driven. Proven experience as a driver, ideally within Distribution & Warehouse or a related industry. Excellent knowledge of Purfleet-on-Thames and surrounding areas. Strong commitment to safety and compliance with all driving regulations. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
