Healthwatch Worcestershire is the independent voice for people using health and social care services. We listen to local experiences, share insights with decision-makers, and help improve services across the county. We are looking for an Engagement Officer with a passion for making a difference to health and social care and a flair for engaging with people across a wide range of communities.
We Are Looking For Someone Who Has
* An ability to connect with people and to empathise with their point of view.
* Happy to use digital channels as a way of engaging with people, particularly Facebook and LinkedIn.
* Clear written and verbal communication skills.
* Good organisational skills.
* Full UK driving licence, as attending meetings/events around Worcestershire is a must.
* Energy, drive and ability to manage your own workload as some hours will be worked from home.

Please note this is a 12 month contract initially, but there may be an opportunity to extend the contract depending on the Government's legislative timelines which are guided by the NHS 10-year plan.
Hours by negotiation (minimum 21 hours up to full time available).
Salary: £16,138 per annum for 21 hours (FTE £28,050).
Hybrid Remote – Ability to attend meetings both at the Pershore office and across Worcestershire.
