Job Description
We're looking for a talented Client Relationship and Business Development Executive to support our CR and BD Managers, working directly with lawyers and clients as a key part of our Client & Marketing team.
The role
As a Client Relationship and Business Development Executive, you'll work alongside and support the CR and BD Managers (BDMs) in a frontline role, working directly with lawyers to support their requests, whilst also operating as part of a close-knit Client & Marketing team. At Browne Jacobson, we've always worked across business and society, and with offices in Birmingham, Belfast, Cardiff, Dublin, Exeter, London, Manchester and Nottingham, you'll be joining a UK & Ireland based law firm with an international reach, where social and environmental impact sit at the top of our business agenda.
What You'll Be Doing
* Client relationship management: Managing client listening activity, including keeping key client information up to date, liaising with client partners to arrange Client Listening Interviews, tracking and following up on all feedback actions, and using our AI tools to analyse and report on key themes across the business.
* Business development support: Supporting BDMs on strategy, planning and reporting, including market and competitor analysis, pipeline management, and assisting with the development of pitches, capability statements and events to help raise the firm’s profile in the market.
* Collaboration and reporting: Collating monthly and yearly Executive reports, contributing to TMG board meeting reports, and collaborating with the wider Client & Marketing team and other operations teams to deliver effectively, whilst also challenging and making recommendations to BDMs where appropriate.
What We're Looking For
* Business development experience: Previous BD experience, ideally in a professional services environment, with the ability to work under pressure, demonstrating effective time and project management skills and the ability to manage conflicting timescales and priorities.
* Strong communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, a passion for detail, and a high standard of written output, with close attention to detail throughout.
* A proactive, collaborative mindset: A consistently positive 'can do' approach, with the ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a wider team, acting as a credible and trusted advisor to the business, challenging constructively and making things easier for colleagues.
