Contract Type: Fixed Term Maternity Cover for 9 Months
Part Time – 26 hours per week, Term Time Only 36+3 weeks per year
Working Pattern: Tues 9.00-13.00 (4) Wed 8.30-16.00 (7) Thurs 9.30-20.00 (10) Fri 8.30-14.00 (5)
Year-Round Employment: No unpaid breaks between contracts

What You’ll Do
• Prepare beauty therapy rooms and equipment for daily teaching sessions
• Support lecturers and students during practical beauty treatments
• Maintain and sterilise tools, equipment, and treatment areas
• Monitor and manage stock levels of skincare products and consumables
• Ensure compliance with health & safety, COSHH, and hygiene regulations
• Launder and maintain towels, gowns, and salon uniforms
• Assist in maintaining a professional, client-ready commercial salon environment
• Support ordering and organisation of equipment and materials
What You’ll Bring
• Experience in a beauty salon or spa environment
• Knowledge of professional salon standards, hygiene, and client care
• A highly organised and proactive approach
• Ability to work effectively as part of a teaching and technical support team
• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards
• A relevant Beauty Therapy qualification (Level 2 or above)
