Are you an experienced Class 1 Driver looking for AD-HOC work to build your week up?
Here at Driver Hire Sheffield we are currently looking for an experienced and reliable Class 1 Driver for AD-HOC work with one of our clients.
You will need experience with driving Class 1 & 2 Vehicles and ideally have experience with working on curtain-siders, tippers, Ro/Ro (roll-on roll-off), and skips. Work will vary depending on the clients requirements, so adaptability and a strong work ethic are essential.
Key Responsibilities
* Operating Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently
* You may be asked to operate a Class 2 Vehicle during your shift.
* Scrap Metal Collections
* Working with curtain-siders, tipper vehicles, Ro/Ro, and skip lorries
* Completing all relevant paperwork and delivery documentation
* Conducting daily vehicle checks and reporting defects
* Adhering to all driving laws, tachograph regulations, and health & safety procedures
* Following routes efficiently
Requirements
* Valid Class 1 licence
* Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
* Experience with:
o Curtain-sider work
o Tipper operations
o Ro/Ro (roll-on roll-off) systems
o Skip work
* Good knowledge of driver hours and regulations
* Strong reliability and punctuality
* Ability to work independently and adapt to different job types
