The Opportunity
AI and automation are transforming marketing efficiency and Squared.io is perfectly positioned to lead. This is a pivotal role: you’ll be the fifth hire in the business and will own the mid-market sales pipeline, building relationships with senior stakeholders at ambitious brands and agencies.
You’ll hit the ground running with an existing strong pipeline of leads and trials, taking them through the sales process efficiently and converting them into high-value recurring deals (c. £6k MRR, 5–6 figure ARR). Working directly with the founders, you’ll not only close deals but also help shape how Squared.io goes to market. For a driven salesperson, this is an opportunity to make a visible impact and set the foundations for a scalable sales function.
What you’ll do
* Own the full sales cycle across mid-market and upper-mid brands/agencies: prospecting, discovery, demos, negotiation and close
* Build and manage a strong pipeline to deliver against quarterly ARR targets
* Take ownership of an existing strong pipeline of leads and trials, advancing them efficiently through the sales process
* Engage with senior stakeholders (Heads of Performance, PPC Directors, Agency Leads), understanding their paid media challenges and positioning Squared.io as the solution
* Deliver tailored demos tied to Google Ads KPIs (ROAS, CPA, LTV/CAC), experimentation and automation workflows
* Structure pilot programmes with clear success criteria, ensuring smooth handover to Customer Success post-sale
* Navigate procurement, legal and security processes where required.
* Provide structured feedback to the product team on market needs, features and integrations
* Be an ambassador for Squared.io in the market - representing us at industry events, on LinkedIn and within your network
About you
* 2–5 years of closing experience in B2B SaaS, AdTech or performance marketing, ideally selling into digital/marketing buyers
* Track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets in a full-cycle sales role
* Familiarity with paid search/Google Ads concepts (Search, Shopping, PMax, RSA, feeds, audiences, brand safety). You don’t need to be a PPC expert, but you should be comfortable discussing the basics with senior marketers
* Skilled in discovery, objection handling, negotiation, and running structured sales processes. Experience with frameworks like MEDDIC is a plus
* A natural relationship builder with strong written and verbal communication.
* Motivated by working in a fast-moving, high-ownership start-up environment.

* £65k–£75k base (£130k - £150k OTE), uncapped
