Job Overview
Position: Young Professional – II, Department of Science & Technology, New Delhi.
Salary: Rs. 60,000 per month (no additional allowances).
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain project files and collect relevant documents from investigators.
* Prepare project summaries and agenda papers for meetings.
* Manage databases: capture data, create presentations, and assist in preparing reports for RTI, PQ, and scheme outreach output.
* Assist in documenting the output/outcome of schemes for outreach projects.
Qualifications
* B.Sc. in Physics or Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy (details of degree hierarchy).
* MBA is an additional entry qualification.
* Minimum 3 years of experience after the bachelor’s degree in R&D, R&D Project Management, or related fields.
* Age not more than 40 years as on the closing date.
Terms of Engagement
* Contracted employment with DST; contract includes a confidentiality clause.
* Initial tenure of 1 year, extendable based on performance; maximum tenure of 5 years.
* Termination possible by either side with one month’s notice.
* Eligible for 18 days leave in a calendar year on a pro‑rata basis; unauthorised absence beyond 15 days may lead to termination.
* Contract may be terminated for breach of terms and the employee may be debarred from future engagements.
Remuneration
Consolidated monthly remuneration of Rs. 60,000. No TA, DA, HRA, or medical allowance unless explicitly allowed for certain sub‑categories (Scientific, Financial Accounting). TA/DA may be allowed for field visits as per entitlement for non‑officials.
Mode of Selection
