Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide exceptional support and assistance to our clients across various care settings, including home care, assisted living, nursing homes, and hospice environments. Prior experience in senior care, dementia care, or nursing home environments is highly desirable. Duties
* Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
* Administer medication in accordance with prescribed care plans and medical terminology
* Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning according to dietary requirements
* Support patients with mobility challenges through heavy lifting and behaviour management techniques
* Maintain accurate documentation of care plans and patient progress
* Provide companionship and emotional support, fostering a caring environment
* Manage behaviour issues with patience and professionalism, especially in cases involving Alzheimer's or dementia care
* Drive clients safely to appointments or errands as needed
* Follow all health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures and hospice care guidelines
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals for case management and patient care coordination
Experience
* Previous experience in a care home, nursing home, or home care setting is preferred
* Knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration, and case management practices is advantageous
* Experience in Alzheimer's care, dementia care, or hospice environments is highly valued
* Certification in first aid is desirable but not mandatory; training can be provided for suitable candidates
* Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting safely and manage behaviour effectively in challenging situations
* Valid driving licence is beneficial for roles involving transportation of clients
* Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills and organisational abilities are essential for success in this role

Pay: £20.00-£25.00 per hour
