About the role: As a Payments Relationship Manager at MiFinity, you will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing the relationships with our suppliers to ensure the delivery of high-quality products and services. You will play a pivotal role in driving supplier performance, assist with managing contracts, and mitigating risks, all while ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Key responsibilities
Supplier Relationship Management and research:
* Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key suppliers.
* Conduct regular performance and risk reviews and provide constructive feedback.
* Identify opportunities for improvement and innovation in supplier services.
* Compile reviews of target suppliers for the business in all key realms
* Review suppliers and research key business areas as directed by company goals
Performance Monitoring:
* Maintain key performance and risk indicators (KPIs) for supplier performance.
* Track supplier performance against established KPIs and take corrective actions as needed.
* Ensure suppliers meet quality, delivery, and cost targets consistently.
* Help enforce key SLAs to deliver best-in-class service with all relationships
* Act as go-to point for allocated relationships and step in as required to drive resolution to any key issues as directed by product or other key stakeholders
Contract Management:
* Negotiate, draft, and manage supplier contracts, ensuring favourable terms for the company.
* Monitor contract compliance and address any deviations or disputes promptly.
* Renew, extend, or terminate contracts as necessary, in alignment with company goals.
Risk Management:
* Identify and assess risks associated with supplier relationships.
* Develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
* Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes that may impact supplier risk.
Cost Optimization:
* Collaborate with suppliers to identify cost-saving opportunities.
* Implement cost reduction strategies without compromising quality and performance.
Qualifications
* Either a university degree or equivalent in Commerce, Business Administration or in an equivalent field of study, or prior experience in account management, customer support, sales, or business development, within online payments space.
* Minimum 4 years of online payments industry; large PSPs, ewallets, open banking solutions, other APMs aggregators and crypto as examples
* Have strong understanding of online payments flows from authorisation to settlement and systems required to support reconciliation
* Experience managing live payment flows as an escalation a plus
* A Highly customer focused work ethic and solid experience supporting large clients be it from merchant or provider side
* Hands-on approach and desire to roll up sleaves and run with initiatives as needed
* Commercial awareness with the ability to think strategically and spot new opportunities.
* The ability to work independently, and possess strong organizational, time management and communication skills.
* Excellent enthusiasm and a strong work ethic necessary to succeed in a dynamic, fast- moving and results oriented environment.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and preferably have experience working with CRM systems and/or in-house software programs.
* Experience drafting proposals and presenting in front clients will be considered important assets.
* The availability to travel, to meet and network with clients in person.
* Excellent communication skills and command of Additional languages skills are a strong plus.
