Job Overview:
We are seeking two skilled Masseuses to work as Freelancers within our growing Thai Massage business in the heart of Glasgow.
We are currently seeking one full-time Freelancer and one part time Freelancer.
Ideal candidates will possess a strong understanding of various massage techniques and have a solid foundation in human anatomy. As a Massage Therapist, you will provide therapeutic treatments to clients, helping them to relieve stress, alleviate pain, and enhance their overall well-being. Your role will be pivotal in creating a relaxing and healing environment for clients.
Duties:
· Perform various types of massage therapies, including Traditional Thai, Deep Tissue, Hot Stone, Swedish, Aromatherapy oil, and Head and Shoulder massage.
· Assess clients, and tailor treatments accordingly to ensure optimal results.
· Maintain a clean and organised treatment area, adhering to health and safety and professional standards at all times.
· Educate clients on the benefits of different types of massage therapy, and recommend follow-up treatments as necessary.
· Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in massage techniques.
Skills:
· Proficiency in various massage techniques with the ability to adapt based on client needs.
· Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and understand their requirements.
· Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach towards client care.
· Ability to maintain professionalism while providing a serene, comforting experience for clients.
· Good organisational skills to manage appointments and maintain treatment records efficiently.
Other essential attributes:
· Must have a formal qualification in Massage.
· Fluent in English.
· Trustworthy, straightforward, open and honest.
· Reliable.
· Strong work ethic.
· High level of professionalism.
· Committed (we are looking to build a good long-term team).
· Flexible in working hours to fit in with a team of 3 or 4 staff.
· Free from ego and drama.
