Key Responsibilities:
This is a seasonal role to assist with a particularly busy period. This role will be for a fixed-term period of three months only. There is the possibility that the role may become permanent after this time, but this is not guaranteed.
* Preparing alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages for guests in an efficient and timely fashion
* Providing a friendly, welcoming, and unique guest experience
* Assessing guest’s needs and preferences and making recommendations using excellent product knowledge
* Making useful upsell recommendations where applicable
* Keeping the bar and floor presentable and clean to the highest standard
* Operating Challenge 25 policy to ensure safe service of alcohol
* Restocking and replenishing bar inventory and supplies
* Staying guest-focused and nurturing an excellent guest experience
* Complying with all food and beverage regulations
* Recording wastage on the spot and reporting to supervisor
* Adhering to pouring standards always and completing regular pour tests
* Maintaining a clean and tidy bar top and back bar
* Taking responsibility for tasks assigned by management and communicating any issues to supervisors/managers
Key Skills & Experience:
* In-depth understanding of all products and how to prepare them
* Knowledge of licensing objectives and Challenge 25
* Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
* Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked, and clean
* Punctual and reliable
* Outstanding customer service skills
* Ability to work well within the team to achieve brand and sales objectives
* Attention to detail
* Ability to follow instructions efficiently and quickly
* Adhere to Boxpark’s uniform policy and basic hygiene standards
