We would love for you to join our Communication Hub team within Hywel Dda University Health Board. This is a dynamic patient and staff facing service.
The successful applicant will be working in a growing and motivated service providing a single point of contact for a variety of services across the Health Board. We respond quickly to the needs of the Health Board and its patients, which relies on being solution focused, quick thinking and able to follow detailed processes. You will be responsible for supporting teams by inputting and answering various queries, booking appointments and processing referrals via email, telephone and Microsoft Forms, and supporting members of the public and staff. The ability to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and keyboard skills (including attention to detail) are very important. Training will be given on our various software platforms.
If successful you will work on a 7‑day rota. Shifts will be between the hours of 8 am–5 pm. You will be based in the Communication Hub at the Health Board headquarters site at St Davids Park, Carmarthen.
You will need to be able to respond positively to change and demonstrate excellent communication skills and a sound value base.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
Hywel Dda University Health Board plans and provides NHS healthcare services for people living in Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Pembrokeshire and bordering counties. We have over 13,000 staff and together we provide primary, community, in‑hospital, mental health and learning disabilities services. * Numerous mental health and learning disabilities services
