Credit Controller THE PURPOSE OF THE ROLE The successful candidate will take on a book of aged debt, influencing the Client and Customers to pay their account in a approachable and professional manner, maintaining relationships and building rapport for future liaison. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING Chasing outstanding debt by phone, email and letter Resolving outstanding queries Sending out copy invoices Updating reports and systems Sending statements when required SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Previous experience working in credit control Proven experience with reducing aged debt Excellent Microsoft Excel skills including VLookups and advanced formulas Financial qualification desirable but not essential Excellent communication skills Excellent interpersonal skills Influencing and persuading skills Content working autonomously Organised and self-motivated Curious to challenge the status quo Unified in working together for the same gaols and vision Driven to achieve, succeed and progress Passionate about our customers, our business and personal performance SALARY: £24,000 to 26,000 pa FTE, dependent on skills, qualifications and experience HOURS: Hybrid - 35 hours per week, Mon-Fri 9.00 am to 5.00 pm CONTRACT: 12-month Fixed Term Contract BENEFITS In addition to a competitive salary, we offer: 23 days holiday Bank Holidays, a contributory salary sacrifice pension, Health Cash Plan Scheme with Simplyhealth (Level 2 Cover), and Life Assurance at x3 salary.
