We are looking to recruit a Compliance Administrator to assist our busy Vehicle Compliance team in ensuring that our vehicle fleet, drivers and operators conform to legal requirements.

The role will be to assist the compliance officers in their day to day duties planning and monitoring of inspections, defects and repairs for our HGV and LGV vehicles, to assist in the generation of reports and update various compliance reporting systems. The role will also include some occasional general duties such as the delivery or collection of vans for MOT inspection and or personnel, therefore a full UK Driving Licence is essential for this position. The role would suit either someone wishing to commence a career within transport / transport office or a competent general office administrator.

The position will be 40 hours per week Monday to Friday hrs), however, some flexibility on start and finish times may be possible for the right candidate but also to meet the needs of the business.

Candidate requirements:

* Good IT skills
* Proficient in the use of MS Excel
* Ability to work on own initiative
* Good organisational skills
* A confident communicator
* Ability to work under pressure
* Full UK Licence
* Flexible in approach to work in order to undertake additional administrative duties as required
* Interest in working within a transport business.

Duties will include:

* Assist compliance team with the planning & monitoring inspections and defect repairs
* Data inputting on a variety of compliance spreadsheets and records.
* Monitor FORS 'e' learning to ensure completion by drivers.
* Assist in new employee inductions including online Licence/CPC checks/ uploading of information
* General admin duties / raising Purchase Orders / filing etc
* Ad hoc duties / collection and delivery of small vans for MOT / servicing / downloading camera footage.

Due to the remote location, applicants must have their own means of transport to travel to and from work.

Salary Guide £26-28K – subject to experience
