The finance department is based at the heart of the university and operates to cover all aspects from transactional finance through to the development of the University’s long-term financial plan and delivery of the £300m+ per annum revenue budget. Whilst a reasonable level of financial numeracy and competence in MS Excel is required, the most desirable attributes are the ability to communicate with a range of stakeholders, written proficiency, attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving.
