About the Role The appointed candidate will teach Music across KS3–KS5, nurturing students’ musical appreciation, creativity, and performance confidence. The post holder will contribute to both the classroom and the wider life of the school by leading ensembles, choirs, or music clubs, and helping coordinate the annual concerts and productions that form part of the school’s performing arts calendar. Key Responsibilities Teach engaging Music lessons that combine theory, performance, and composition. Use technology effectively for notation, recording, and mixing. Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level practical assessments. Direct or accompany school choirs, bands, or instrumental groups. Participate in the planning of school concerts, recitals, and musical theatre events. Engage in CPD and reflective practice as part of the ECT induction.
