Job Opportunity: Project Engineer (M&E) - Water Sector
Location: Lower Moor- Beckford - Pershore area
Rate: Up to £500 per day (inside IR35, umbrella)
Contract: 3-6 months with potential for extension
My client is seeking a skilled Project Engineer with experience in Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Engineering for the Water sector. Join a dynamic team delivering critical waste water treatment projects across the Pershore area.
Role Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with suppliers and site teams to manage equipment from order to on-site delivery, ensuring alignment with RAMS and QA documentation.
2. Support and manage project engineering functions, including:
1. RAMS development
2. Clip programme and collaborative planning
3. Site meetings and supervision of Tier 2 contractors as needed
4. Coordination with design and project management teams
3. Engage in the TQ process, assisting with tracking and supply chain communications.
4. Support PM with OWL and action trackers, and offer buildability insights.
Key Requirements:
1. Certifications:
1. SSSTS (minimum), SMSTS preferred
2. CSCS Card (Black preferred, Silver/Gold accepted)
2. Education: Relevant M&E qualification (HNC or higher)
3. Experience:
1. 5+ years in Tier 1 Wastewater Treatment
2. Temporary works and temporary treatment knowledge
3. Proficient in over-pumping processes (excluding dewatering)
4. Technical Skills:
1. Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project (MSP)
2. Multi-disciplinary skills (Mechanical and Electrical)
3. Familiarity with ITP/ITF creation and collaboration with design and commissioning teams
