About Hinkley Point C The first new nuclear power station to be built in the UK in over 20 years; Hinkley Point C in Somerset will provide low-carbon electricity for around 6 million homes, create thousands of jobs and bring lasting benefits to the UK economy. Marking a significant milestone in the revitalisation of our nuclear power industry, Hinkley Point C will make a major contribution to the UKs move to reduce carbon emissions. The electricity generated by its two EPR reactors will offset 9 million tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions a year, or 600 million tonnes over its 60-year lifespan. What you'll be doing As a/an CMPIC Engineer you will have the following accountabilities: To provide engineering support for the cable installation activities. To produce cable pull cards for the correct installation sequence of cables. Support of master cable drum management schedule on CMPic. To Provide CMPIC Support to Installation team To Provide CMPic support to enable the change management system to be streamlined and effective pre and post cable installation. To support the preparation of the specialist documentation from CMPic required to support the installation of the cables. To support the preparation of area specific CMPic documentation to ensure the correct integration of the cable installation. To Support and provide relevant information for the cable tracking system. Provide support for the cable labelling system. Interface directly with the cable routing team.
