Purpose of Role
We are currently recruiting for a Static Electrical Engineer to join our facilities maintenance team based permanently at RAF Brize Norton, one of the UK’s most significant military airbases.
Job Description
As part of our on-site engineering team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the ongoing compliance, safety, and reliability of electrical and building services infrastructure. You’ll carry out a range of duties including planned preventative maintenance (PPM), fault diagnosis, and reactive repairs on electrical systems such as power distribution (including 3-phase), emergency lighting, small power, alarms, and general building systems.
This is a site-based role offering stability, a consistent working environment, and the chance to be part of a well-supported team working on a high-profile, secure site.
Responsibilities
* Delivering electrical maintenance services across the RAF Brize Norton site
* Performing routine PPMs, reactive fault-finding, and emergency repairs
* Maintaining systems including 3-phase power, lighting, alarms, and controls
* Supporting compliance with statutory regulations and client standards
* Working within MOD protocols and maintaining high Health & Safety standards
Essential Qualifications/Skills
* Proven experience in a commercial or facilities management setting
* Solid understanding of electrical systems, fault-finding, and maintenance
* 18th Edition qualification and NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
* Ability to pass BPSS Clearance (must have lived and worked in the UK for the past 5 years)
