The role of Landscape Technician Charge Hand will include:
1. Providing supervisory support in keeping estates well maintained and clean
2. Using equipment and materials in a safe manner as instructed and in accordance with risk assessment and the manufacturer’s guidance
3. Carrying out all hazardous tasks such as spraying, in accordance with supplier guidelines ensuring relevant records are maintained to comply with health and safety and legal requirements
4. Ensuring tools and equipment are maintained in good condition and continue to be suitable for required tasks
5. Responding positively to complaints and breakdowns in service delivery to meet customer expectations
Skills and experiences:
6. A pesticide application certificate PA1 – PA6 or equivalent
7. Recent experience of working within a similar role where operating gardening machinery is essential
8. Some experience of supervising others
9. This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence

20. £26,863 per annum (rising to £28,276 per annum after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance)
