Responsibilities
* On-site support and maintenance of end user services to ensure seamless technology operations.
* Manage the product life cycle of all service-raised incidents and requests; inform customers on progress and advise on workarounds when necessary.
* Engage directly with end-users on-site to fix hardware and technical problems promptly.
* Prioritise tasks based on business needs and dependencies; troubleshoot and diagnose; escalate faults to service desk, incident and problem managers as required.
* Build and carry out routine (re)configuration and installation of secure managed devices; optimise performance.
* Apply agreed methodologies, standards and processes to make and validate decisions.
* Responsible for secure disposals of equipment and reviews of technical and operational process documentation.
* Aim to minimise downtime and maximise organisational productivity.
Requirements
* Experience with Agile and ITIL Foundation level or equivalent; Microsoft Fundamentals role-based certification; Level 3 Information Communication Technician or equivalent IT/Computer Science qualification.
* Confident with Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, Apple iOS; strong technical understanding of hardware, operating systems and software in enterprise or secure environments.
* Ability to work calmly in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
Desirable
* Experience in ITIL environments; Microsoft role-based certifications (Microsoft Associate); experience with ServiceNow, Microsoft Azure, Intune & SCCM; knowledge of related components, devices, processes and protocols.
