ML is a vibrant, dynamic and innovative service sector which provides customer-focused support and choice to ICBs, helping to improve outcomes and increase value for the population it serves. NHS ML hosts expertise in both the commercial and clinical arenas.
Exciting opportunities have arisen within IT at ML, and we are looking for Field Engineers to join the IT Team on a FTC basis. The role primarily is to support IT services for both internal and external clients, supporting existing services and technologies.
The post is primarily based in Warrington with a requirement to travel across ML and Clients where required. A driver with own vehicle is essential and the ability to work flexible hours with the possibility of weekend work and Out of Hours support.

Responsibilities
* Support a wide portfolio of clients across Cheshire, Lancashire, Macclesfield including NHS Clinical Commissioning Groups, NHS England, HM Prison Service, NHS Trusts and GP Practices.
* Provide IT service support to internal and external clients, maintaining and troubleshooting existing services and technologies.
* Be flexible in working hours, travel, and potentially provide weekend and out-of-hours support as required.
Requirements/Qualifications
* In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems and MS Office Suite.
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with excellent communication abilities.
* Hands-on experience in desktop technologies.
* Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
* Operational experience in an ITIL-based IT operations environment (preferred).
* Methodical yet flexible approach, well organized, and highly motivated.
* Knowledge of working within the NHS and its systems would be beneficial but is not essential.
* Full driving license and access to a vehicle; willingness to travel as required.
