The role of Caretaker will include:
1. Undertaking general caretaking duties including internal block cleaning, litter picking, cleaning and clearing of bin stores and bulky waste removal
2. Grounds maintenance tasks including lawn mowing, hedge trimming, weed spraying and general upkeep
3. Compliance testing
4. Working with customers to identify faults, resolving issues and improving services
5. Completing all documents and paperwork concerning tasks completed
6. Ensuring tools and equipment are maintained in good condition and continue to be suitable for required tasks
7. Responding positively to complaints and breakdowns in service delivery to meet customer expectations
8. Carrying out all hazardous tasks such as spraying, in accordance with supplier guidelines ensuring relevant records are maintained to comply with health and safety and legal requirements
9. Using equipment and materials in a safe manner as instructed and in accordance with risk assessment and the manufacturer’s guidance
Skills and experiences:
10. Experience in a similar role or completing similar tasks
11. Practical experience in operating hand tools and light machinery
12. Some experience of working to deadlines and prioritising workloads
13. Attention to detail in terms of getting property to a standard where we can move new customers in
14. Working knowledge of Health and Safety legislation
15. Excellent communication and customer service skills
16. This role will involve driving on company business. To drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence

27. £25,400 per annum (rising to £26,737 per annum after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance)
