£28,598 - £31,022 pro‑rate salary is approximately £21,606 - £23,438
Overview
St John’s CE Primary is seeking a passionate and dedicated practitioner to lead in our Little Saints provision for 2‑year‑olds, part of our school nursery. This is an exciting new provision launching in September 2026, and the successful applicant will have the opportunity to work closely with the EYFS Phase Leader and the Senior Leadership Team to help set up and shape the provision from the ground up.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day‑to‑day running of the provision, delivering high‑quality sessions, and supporting team members through observation and guidance.
Qualifications & Experience
* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in childcare (essential)
* Post‑qualified experience working with children aged 0–11 years
* Training in safeguarding and Paediatric First Aid
* Thorough understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
* Knowledge of OFSTED standards (essential)
* Excellent organisational skills and ability to meet targets and deadlines
* Understanding of Health and Safety legislation
