We currently require two Joiners to assist Property Services with various large-scale joinery projects across our Major Void Backlog & In Year Programme, as well as supporting Planned Repairs Projects.
Role Overview
You will be part of a team delivering essential repairs and replacements in empty void social housing properties or completing Planned Repair works for existing or new tenants.
Key Responsibilities
1. Removal & renewal of kitchens (standard or adapted)
2. Removal & renewal of bathrooms, shower rooms, and wet rooms, working as part of a two-person team with a plumber
3. Internal second fix joinery
4. Internal first fix joinery
5. Fascia, soffits, and gutter work
6. Garage door installations, including frames
7. Joinery repairs, such as floor boarding, door adjustments/renewals, kitchen unit repairs
Most elements of joinery work are likely to be covered during the placement.
Additional Skills
Basic plumbing experience or confidence in plumbing is advantageous but not essential. Candidates should be willing to assist other trades and undertake general laboring tasks, including rubbish removal.

* A full induction will be provided before starting on-site.
* A work vehicle will be supplied; candidates may need to initially commute to the depot independently.
* The void programme lasts for 12 months, with reviews at 3-month intervals.
