TimePlan Education is working in partnership with a well-established all-through SEND school that supports pupils from Early Years through to Key Stage 4. We are currently seeking a committed and enthusiastic SEND Primary Teacher to join their team from September 2025, covering a maternity leave expected to last the full academic year.
About the Role:
This is a full-time teaching position within the primary department of the school, working with pupils aged 4-11 who have a range of complex needs, including:
Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
Additional communication and interaction challenges
You will:
Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that support both academic progress and emotional well-being
Foster a supportive and structured classroom environment tailored to individual needs
Work closely with a team of dedicated teaching assistants, therapists, and other professionals
Play an active role in developing and implementing EHCPs and behaviour support plans
Monitor and assess pupil progress, ensuring a holistic approach to development
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience teaching primary-aged pupils with SEND, particularly those with ASC and/or SEMH
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
A calm, resilient, and empathetic approach
A commitment to inclusive education and pupil-centred learning
