Role Overview
Long term Contract Inside I35
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Architect to lead the design and delivery of Field Service solutions. This role combines deep Salesforce platform expertise with strong architectural thinking to deliver scalable, integrated, and mobile-first field service capabilities.
You will work closely with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and delivery teams to design and implement solutions across Service Cloud and Field Service, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Architecture & Solution Design
* Lead end-to-end solution architecture for Salesforce Field Service and Service Cloud implementations
* Translate business requirements into scalable technical designs and solution blueprints
* Present and govern solutions through architecture review boards
* Define integration patterns with enterprise systems (ERP, billing, middleware, etc.)
Field Service Solution Delivery
* Design and configure Field Service capabilities including:
* Work Orders, Service Appointments, Assets
* Scheduling policies and workforce optimisation
* Service territories and resource management
* Support implementation of mobile-first solutions for field technicians
* Contribute to improving service operations through automation and digital workflows
Development & Integration
* Provide technical oversight for:
* Apex development
* Lightning Web Components (LWC)
* Salesforce Flows and automation
* Design and review integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware platforms
* Ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices, performance, and scalability standards
Delivery Leadership
* Lead and mentor development teams, ensuring high-quality delivery
* Support sprint planning, estimation, and backlog refinement
* Conduct design and code reviews
* Collaborate across global Agile teams
Stakeholder Engagement
* Work closely with business stakeholders to understand service processes and challenges
* Communicate technical solutions to non-technical audiences
* Provide guidance and recommendations to senior leadership
Required Skills & Experience
* 8+ years Salesforce experience, including architecture and delivery roles
* Strong expertise in:
* Apex, LWC, SOQL/SOSL
* Salesforce Flows and automation
* Integration design (APIs, middleware, ETL)
* Experience with Service Cloud and service operations processes
* Exposure to Field Service concepts such as work management, scheduling, or mobile workforce enablement
* Experience working in Agile delivery environments
* Strong understanding of enterprise system integration patterns
Desirable Experience
* Hands-on experience with Salesforce Field Service Lightning (FSL)
* Experience with mobile solutions and offline capabilities
* Exposure to workforce scheduling and optimisation tools
* Experience with CI/CD, SFDX, and DevOps practices
Certifications
* Salesforce Platform Developer I (required)
* Salesforce Administrator (preferred)
* Salesforce Service Cloud Consultant (preferred)
* Field Service Lightning Consultant (desirable, not mandatory)
