An exciting opportunity has arisen for a midwife who is passionate to develop their knowledge, clinical expertise, management and leadership skills in a community setting.
We are looking for a highly motivated and committed individual who is passionate about delivering high quality, safe person-centred care to women and their families in line with our organisational values.
This role will oversee both Aberdeen City Community midwives and the continuity team, Team Violet. This is a management and leadership post and an ideal opportunity for professional development. You will have responsibility for team dynamics, team performance, quality improvement, budget control and duty rosters including on call allocation.
The successful midwife will share their clinical knowledge and skills alongside providing compassionate leadership supporting the community team.
You will be a role model for the team with excellent leadership skills. You will aspire to always deliver a consistent and compassionate organisational culture, building and sustaining professional relationships.
